Důvodem vzniku této bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření ovládací aplikace pro zařízení CANtron, jehož účelem je vysílání zpráv na sběrnici CAN. Toto zařízení spolu s~ovládací aplikací pro OS Windows slouží účelům testovacím a simulačním. Pomocí kombinace obou nástrojů lze provádět pohotovou analýzu činnosti libovolné řídící jednotky. Mezi nejdůležitější aspekty, které by měla ovládací aplikace splňovat, byla zařazena bezproblémová komunikace se zařízením, jehož parametry bude možno editovat za běhu programu. Uživatel bude mít například možnost nastavit přenosovou rychlost zařízení, či možnost modifikace obsahu zpráv, což je nejdůležitější funkcí vytvořené ovládací aplikace. V~rámci přípravy na samotné psaní zdrojového kódu a návrh uživatelského rozhraní se musely vyřešit otázky související s~výběrem vhodného vývojového prostředí a programovacího jazyka, který by nejlépe posloužil daným požadavkům. Z~tohoto důvodu byla pozornost zaměřena na jazyk Visual Basic, který se nakonec stal stěžejním nástrojem vedoucím ke splnění daných cílů zadání. K~nim by se však nikdy nedospělo bez použití samotného funkčního vzorku zařízení, který posloužil jako nepostradatelný pomocník při ladění ovládacího programu. Ačkoli se v~době vytvoření ovládací aplikace jednalo o~aktuální verzi vývojového prostředí, jenž zajišťovalo nejmodernější vzhled uživatelského prostředí, je jen otázkou času, kdy bude potřeba tuto aplikaci přizpůsobit budoucím požadavkům ať již z~hlediska vizuálního, tak i funkčního. Katedra aplikované elektroniky a telekomunikací Obhájeno The aim of this Bachelor thesis was to design a control application for a device called CANtron. The purpose of this device is to transmit messages via a CAN bus. In this case, the CANtron is represented by a functional sample. CANtron together with the control application are very important components for testing and simulations in the domain of control units. The combination of these tools is used to perform an instantaneous performance analysis of a unit. In order to make the control application fully operational, it should meet two key requirements. Its communication with the device should be trouble-free and the user should have an opportunity to edit its parametres during the running of the control application. For example, it will be possible to set the bit rate of the device and to modify the contents of messages. This feature is the most important function of the designed control programme. Within the preparation for source code writing and user interface designing, it was necessary to choose a suitable developing environment and a programming language. The programming language selected as the most suitable one was Visual Basic, which became the principal tool to fulfil the set goals. However, the goals would be unrealizable without the functional device sample itself. This sample played an essential part during debugging of the control application. When creating the control application, an up-to-date developing environment was used. However, it is only a question of time when it will be necessary to adapt this application to meet the latest visual and functional requirements.

Prohledávání dokumentů podle automaticky extrahovaných vzorů je problém z oblasti information retrieval. Lze ho také nalézt pod pojmy jako rozpoznávání nebo vyhledávání slov v ručně psyných dokumentech. V anglické literatuře je nejčastěji použit termín word spotting. Toto prohledávání je děleno podle vstupního kritéria, kterým může být obrazový vzor (dále jako QbE) nebo textový řetězec (dále jako QbS). Při prohledávání se snažíme na základě vstupního kritéria nalézt obrázky s odpovídajícím slovem. Úspěšné vyřešení by usnadnilo práci např. v situaci, kdy má historik najít v kronice, která obsahuje 1 000 stran textu, všechny zmínky o klášteře v Teplé. Cílem této práce je návrh a implementace metod, které umožní vyhledávání těchto slov. Předpokladem je předem provedená segmentace dokumentu na obrázky slov. K dosažení tohoto cíle jsou použity neuronové sítě. Tato práce vznikla za podpory projektů CERIT Scientific Cloud (LM2015085) a CESNET_ (LM2015042) financovaných z programu MŠMT Projekty velkých infrastruktur pro VaVaI.

Ageism has been generally defined as a prejudice people from a certain age group hold towards other age groups (Butler, 1969; 1975). Although such definitions do not restrict the use of the term to researching prejudices regarding a certain age group, currently ageism is deployed in studies concerning prejudices regarding older people and includes cognitive evaluations (negative stereotypes people might have regarding older people) as well as affective – emotional reactions towards older people, in different instances of daily life. Researchers admit the fact that some of the ageist reactions (both cognitive and emotional) could be captured by implicit measures. Implicit association tests have been used to measure subtle cues of ageism (see Levy & Banaji, 2002) and the validity of these measurements are largely discussed in the international psychological literature (see Greenwald, McGhee & Schwartz, 1998; Rudman et al., 1999, for a review). Drawing could also be used as a tool to research implicit ageism, though it has been approached to a lesser extend to research on ageism (see for example Barrett & Cantwell, 2007). In the current research, we employ the drawing technique on a sample of undergraduate students from a public university (N=165) to assess their visual representations of older people. Examining the features of the drawing allows us to talk about implicit ageism and the way the drawing tool could be a valid tool to examine implicit ageism.
