    Straipsnyje analizuojama 2004 m. spalio 29 d. Europos Sąjungos šalių narių ir kandidačių vadovų pasirašyta Sutartis dėl Konstitucijos Europai, dar vadinama Konstitucija, Konstitucijos projektu ir Konstitucine sutartimi. Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas 2004 m. lapkričio 11d. įstatymu Nr. IX-2562 ratifikavo šią Sutartį. Pasirinkta tokia nacionalinė procedūra, o piliečiai neįtraukti į platesnę pilietinę ir teisinę diskusiją dėl ES Konstitucinės sutarties. Diskusijų apie visuotinio referendumo rengimą beveik nebuvo, nors LR Konstitucija numato, jog svarbiausi valstybės gyvavimo klausimai yra sprendžiami referendume. Įsigilinus į ES Konstitucijos tekstą, daromos išvados, kad bus pakeista Europos Sąjungos institucijų sistema ir sutarčių peržiūros procedūra, ES piliečiams suteikta galimybė inicijuoti Europos įstatymų leidybos procedūras referendumuose, išplėsta Europos Teisingumo teismo kompetencija. Sutartimi reorganizuojamas nacionalinių parlamentų indėlis į ES demokratinį vystymąsi, nustatant “išankstinio įspėjimo sistemą” ir vykdant subsidiarumo principo monitoringą. Sustiprintos Europos Parlamento įstatymų leidybos ir biudžeto formavimo galios bei konsoliduota Parlamento politinė priežiūra, renkant Komisijos prezidentą. Konvento subūrimas pripažintas specialiu metodu ateityje priimti Konstitucijos teksto pakeitimus. Europos Konstitucija turėtų sustiprinti Sąjungos demokratinę prigimtį. The article analyzes the Treaty on the Constitution for Europe signed by the heads of the EU member states and candidate member states on 29 October 2004, it is also called the Constitution, the Constitution Project, or the Constitutional Agreement. The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania ratified this Treaty on 11 November 2004 by Law No. IX-2562. These national procedures were chosen, and the citizens were not included into a wider civic and legal discussion on the EU Constitutional Treaty. There were hardly any discussions about the arrangement of a general referendum, even though the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania provides that the most important state issues are decided by referendum. Upon closer analysis of the text of the EU Constitution, the conclusion is reached that the system of the EU institutions and the procedure for the observation of the treaties will be changed, EU citizens will be granted the ability to initiate the EU legislation procedures by way of referendums, and the scope of competence of the Court of Justice is to be extended. The Treaty reorganizes the contribution of the national parliaments into the EU democratic development by establishing "an early warning system" and implementing monitoring of the principle of subsidiarity. The powers of the European Parliament to legislate and to form the budget consolidated parliament's political monitoring by electing the president of the European Commission. The meeting of the Convention is approved as a special method to, in the future, adopt changes of the text of the Constitution. The European Constitution is supposed to strengthen the democratic nature of the European Union.

    Straipsnyje nagrinėjama septynių Šiaurės Lietuvos miestelių heraldika, kurioje vaizduojami krikščioniški simboliai. Miestelio heraldiką sudaro jo herbas, herbinė vėliava, herbinis antspaudas. Herbas yra tiek vėliavos, tiek antspaudo pagrindas. Herbo figūra simbolizuoja tam tikrą reikšmę, suteikia daugiausiai informacijos apie herbo savininką. Taip pat atspindi tai, kas buvo svarbu jį sukūrusiems arba yra/turėtų būti svarbu jį šiandien naudojantiems miestelių gyventojams. Todėl straipsnyje stengiamasi ne tik trumpai pristatyti miestelių heraldikos kūrimo procesą, tačiau taip pat išnagrinėti ką šiandienos miestelių gyventojams reiškia toks jų miestelio herbas? Ar herbai su krikščioniškais simboliais gali užimti svarbią vietą XXI a. miestelėnų kultūrinėje atmintyje? Kokių veiksmų reikia imtis norint, kad šie herbai nebūtų užmiršti, nesuprasti? This article studies the coats of arms of seven small northern Lithuanian towns which depict Christian symbols. A town‘s heraldry comprises a coat of arms, an heraldic flag and an heraldic seal. The coat of arms forms the basis for both flag and seal. The heraldic device has a certain meaning and gives information about its owner. It also reflects what was important for those who obtained the arms and it should be important too for modern inhabitants of the towns. Therefore the study attempts not only to present a concise account of how urbam coats of arms were formed but also to examine what such coats of arms mean to townsfolk today. Can coats of arms with Christian devices occupy an important place in the cultural memory of people in small towns? What efforts should be made to ensure that such coats of arms are not forgotten or misunderstood?

    Straipsnyje pirmą kartą pateikiamos susistemintos šiuo metu turimos rašytinės žinios Vilniaus Bernardinų bažnyčioje saugotas relikvijas ir jų kulto pobūdį. Apie ankstyvąją bažnyčios įrangą išliko tik labai fragmentiški duomenys. Tiriami XVII a. II pusės-XX a. šaltiniai. Jie liudija gyvavus XV a. mirusių dviejų vietinių bernardinų, daug nusipelniusių ordino veiklos Lietuvoje pradžioje (Angelo iš Astravo ir Marijono iš Jeziorko), XVII a. pr.-XIX a. populiarų vietos kankinio - žydų nužudyto berniuko Simono, pirmųjų krikščionių kankinių, pranciškonų šventųjų, šv. Kazimiero, Kryžiaus medžio, Kristaus kraujo ir kt. relikvijų kultą. Analizuojami duomenys apie relikvijų įsigijimą, donatorius. XVII a. kronikose minimas garbinimo objektas - šv. Florijono koplyčia. Provincijos ir konvento kronikose minima, kad 1656-1661 m. Maskvos armija nusiaubė visą Vilniaus Bernardinų bažnyčią ir Šv. Florijono koplyčią, altoriai buvo sugriauti, kartu išplėšta ir sunaikinta daug pastarojoje buvusių įvairių šventųjų relikvijų. XVIII a. Šv. Florijono koplyčios kaip relikvijų saugyklos reikšmė buvo atgaivinta. Didysis koplyčios altorius, ne kartą perstatytas ir keitęs titulą, XVIII a. įgavo didžiulio relikvijoriaus pobūdį (jame buvo 35-ios talpos relikvijoms). 1746 m. bažnyčios šventoriuje buvo pastatyta Kristaus laiptų koplyčia su relikvijomis pakopose. Pasitelkus XVIII-XIX a. duomenis, straipsnyje rekonstruojama relikvijų garbinimo tradicija. Visos šv. Florijono ir Kristaus laiptų koplyčiose buvusios relikvijos sovietmečiu uždarius bažnyčią buvo išplėštos, daugumos relikvijorių buvimo vieta nežinoma. The article, for the first time ever presents the systematized available written information on the relics, stored in Vilnius Bernardine Church and the character of their cult. Only very fragmentary data remained on the early equipment of the church. The sources of the 2nd half of the 17th – the 20th century are examined. The sources evidence the cult of relics of two local Bernardines, who significantly contributed in the beginning of activities of the order in Lithuania and died in the 15th century (Angelas from Astravas and Marijonas from Jeziorkas), the local boy Simon, murdered by Jews, who was a popular martyr in the beginning of the 17th – the 19th century, the first Christian martyrs, Franciscan saints, St. Casimirus, the True Cross, the Blood of Christ and other relics. The article provides an analysis of the data on acquisition of relics and their donators. The object of worship, mentioned in the chronicles of the 17th century is the chapel of St. Florijonas. The chronicles of the province and the convent mention that in 1656-1661 Moscow’s army ravaged the entire Vilnius Bernardine Church and the chapel of St. Florijonas, the altars were burned and a lot of different sacred relics were destroyed or stolen. In the 18th century the function of the chapel of St. Florijonas as a vault for relics was restored. The big altar of the chapel, which was reconstructed more than once, in the 18th century acquired the function of the big reliquary (it contained 35 receptacles for relics). In 1746 the chapel of the stairs of Christ with relics on its levels was erected in the churchyard. By employing the data of the 18th – the 19th century, the article reconstructs the tradition of worshipping of relics. All the relics, which existed in the chapels of St. Florijonas and the stairs of Christ were stolen after the church was closed in the Soviet times and the location of most reliquaries is unknown.

    Straipsnyje analizuojama kokybės vadybos iniciatyvų plėtra Lietuvos viešajame sektoriuje, aptariami pagrindiniai struktūriniai ir instituciniai veiksniai, kurie lemia kokybės vadybos taikymą viešojo administravimo įstaigose. Akcentuojama, kad Lietuvoje kokybės vadyba tiek valstybės, tiek įstaigų lygmenimis pradėta diegti neseniai, todėl kokybės vadybos iniciatyvas taikančių įstaigų nėra daug. Parodyta, kad kokybės vadybos iniciatyvas dažniau linkusios taikyti brandesnės įstaigos, kurios turi kitų veiklos valdymo priemonių taikymo patirties, o trūkstant kokybės vadybos patirties pasirinktas kokybės vadybos modelis gali būti įdiegtas formaliai ir gali daugėti administracinio krūvio. Pagrįsta, kad diegiant kokybės vadybą svarbūs įstaigos amžius ir jos dydis. This article analyses the development of quality management in the Lithuanian public sector and identifies major structural and institutional factors that influence the application of quality management initiatives in public administration institutions. It is emphasized that quality management has been introduced to both national and institutional levels in Lithuania just recently, therefore the number of institutions applying quality management is rather small. The authors argue that more mature institutions, which have experience in applying other innovative performance management techniques, are also more likely to apply quality management initiatives. Such factors as duration of existence of the institution, its size, number of staff and budget size have a direct impact on quality management application in Lithuania. On the contrary, the lack of quality management experience may determine the formalistic application of quality management models and raise unnecessary administrative burden.

    Pirmieji žinomi Palemono, jo palikuonių, iš romėnų save kildinusių pirmųjų Lietuvos valdovų, atvaizdai yra užfiksuoti 1581 m. Spėjeryje (Vokietija), Bernardo Albino spaustuvėje išleistame Alexandra Guagnini veikale "Sarmatiae Europae descriptio". Užfiksuotų portretų įtaka buvo tokia didelė, kad net ir XIX a. - XX a. I pusėje šios iliustracijos buvo masiškai tiražuojamos kaip vieninteliai pirmųjų Lietuvos istorijos personažų portretai. Šiandien šie atvaizdai reikšmingi tuo, kad vizualiu pavidalu atskleidžia XVI a. II pusės - XVII a. LDK visuomenės požiūrį į savo šaknis, pirmuosius bandymus vaizdinėmis priemonėmis užfiksuoti vietos istoriją. Portretai yra ne autonomiški dailės kūriniai, o tekstą atspindinčios iliustracijos. Veikalo portretus galima suskirstyti į dvi grupes. Pirmai priklauso medalionus primenančiuose apskritimuose sukomponuoti biustiniai atvaizdai, profiliais į dešinę arba į kairę; jie sugrupuoti į šešis pogrupius po tris. Ši grupė atspindi ankstyvuosius, tiesiogiai su Palemonu besigiminiavusius veikėjus. Kitai grupei priskirtini puošnesni, didesnio formato Mindaugo, Vytenio, Gedimino, Algirdo, Jogailos, Skirgailos, Vytauto, Švitrigailos, Aleksandro portretai, įdėti į vos ovalėjančius rėmus, puoštus rolverkiniais kartušais. Personažai vaizduojami iki juosmens, enface arba trijų ketvirčių rakursu. Abiem iliustracijų grupėms būdingi manierizmo dailės bruožai: apskritimo forma, ritmo pojūtis ir ornamentiškumas. Palemono palikuonims vaizduoti pasirinkti anksčiau kituose kontekstuose buvę, stilistiškai ir ikonografiškai su romėniškąja numizmatika) susiję atvaizdai. The first images of Palemon, his progeny and the first rulers of Lithuania, who stated that they originate from the Romans, are registered in 1581 in Speyer (Germany), in Alexandra Guagnini’s study "Sarmatiae Europae Descriptio", published in Bernard Albin’s printing house. The influence of the registered portraits was such big that even in the 19th – the 1st half of the 20th century the illustrations were mass circulated as the only portraits of the first characters of Lithuania’s history. Today the images are significant since they reveal the view of the society of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the 2nd half of the 16th – the 17th century of their roots and are the first attempts to register the history of the land by visual means. The portraits are not autonomous paintings but illustrations of text. The portraits can be divided into two groups. The first covers the bust images, with the profile to the left of to the right, composed in medallion like circles; they are grouped into six subgroups of three in each. The group reflects the earliest characters, directly related with Palemon. The other group includes larger and more ornate portraits of Mindaugas, Vytenis, Gediminas, Algirdas, Jogaila, Skirgaila, Vytautas, Švitrigaila and Aleksandras, put in more oval frames, decorated with rollwerk cartouches. The characters are portrayed half length, enface or in three fourths. Both groups of illustrations characterize with the traits of mannerism art, i. e. round shape, feeling of rhythm and ornamentation. The images, which previously existed in other contexts and stylistically and iconographically related with the Roman numismatics were chosen for portraying the progeny of Palemon.

    Šio straipsnio tikslas – atskleisti korporatyvinio pasakojimo panaudojimo galimybes organizacijų komunikacijoje. Straipsnyje analizuojamas korporatyvinio pasakojimo pritaikomumas šiuolaikinių organizacijų veikloje, leidžiantis padidinti tikslinių auditorijų susidomėjimą bei į jų įsitraukimą į komunikaciją. Teorinio tyrimo metodu buvo nustatyti korporatyvinio pasakojimo panaudojimo tikslai, pritaikomumo sritys, naudojami pasakojimo struktūros elementai bei schemos korporatyviniam pasakojimui sukurti. Empirinio tyrimo būdu buvo išnagrinėta, kokius korporatyvinio pasakojimo elementus naudoja didžiausios Lietuvos organizacijos, pristatydamos savo verslo istoriją socialinėse interneto erdvėse. The purpose of this article to reveal the corporate storytelling usability in organisational communication. The paper analyses the most important aspects of its application to increase the target groups interests and their involvement in the organisation’s communication. In contemporary business organisations, communication corporate stories are defined as one of the effective strategies to control the huge flow of information, give it a clear and attractive form and create a unique and memorable image of the organisation for its target audiences. After the analysis of scientific literature, it was stated that storytelling is an integral part of successful activity of organisation not only in creating the image of the organisation inside and outside, but also in ensuring the smooth functioning of the work, motivating the employees, strengthening the organisational culture, sharing the knowledge etc. It was stated that the importance of corporate storytelling is growing in the participatory culture context. Contemporary organisations seek more attractive forms of communication and represent visual and interactive stories in the multimedia environment instead of facts or other quantitative indicators. This technique does not deny the importance of the facts, figures or schemes, but it fosters to look more carefully at the business strategy and to link the strategic goals with the social context and the problems of the target audiences.

    Žinių vadyba yra plati sąvoka, apimanti procesus nuo idėjos gimimo iki jos realizavimo. XX a. 8-ajame dešimtmetyje tikėtasi, kad žinių vadybos problemas padės spręsti informacinės technologijos. Tačiau pastarųjų dešimtmečių patirtis Vakarų Europoje ir JAV parodė, kad žinių valdyba yra unikalus ir kiekvienai organizacijai individualus procesas, reikalaujantis ne tik technologinių sprendimų, bet ir filosofinio požiūrio. Socialiniuose moksluose, kur žinių procesai nuo idėjos iki jos realizavimo didžiąja dalimi vyksta subjektyvaus mąstymo plotmėje, labai svarbus filosofinis požiūris. Žinių vadybos integralumas su tokiais procesais kaip profesionalizacija paskatintų kitokį požiūrį į žinias tiek individualiame, tiek organizaciniame lygmenyse. Kadangi profesionalizacija yra ne vienkartinis, o nuolatinis tapsmo procesas, XXI a. pradžioje socialinio darbo profesionalizacijai aktualu tinkamai įvertinti informacinės visuomenės keliamus iššūkius, tokius kaip žinių vadyba. Straipsnyje pristatoma konceptuali žinių vadybos analizė ir pagrindžiamas jos aktualumas socialinio darbo profesionalizacijai. Knowledge management is a complex process which begins with the early rise of idea and continues through the process of formalization and transfer. In early 1980s the rise of information technologies inspired notion that knowledge management will be solved by technological means. However, in particular fields such as social sciences knowledge management is closely related with subjective human factors. Therefore, knowledge management should be developed as integral processes with organization’s knowledge, and learning organization. In article author rise problem that knowledge management issue is underestimated in social work field. Therefore, it is important to view knowledge management as integral part of significant processes such as professionalization. The article present conceptual analysis of knowledge management and discuss the significance of knowledge management in a context of social work professionalization.

Investicijų sėkmei didelės įtakos turi ekonominė-politinė-teisinė aplinka, palūkanų norma finansų rinkoje ir rizikos laipsnis, susijęs su procentine, valiutine, operatyvine riziką. Straipsnyje ir analizuojama investicijų pagrįstumo metodologija, su ja susijusios problemos ir veiksniai, įtakojantys investicijų sėkmę. It's very important to evaluate financial investment effectivity. During the period of investment, risk might be caused by changes of capital and also by changes in the financial market. Šiuolaikinės poezijos veido veidą (pastarasis – tapatybės prasme) straipsnyje siekiama atskleisti nagrinėjant skirtingų kartų poetų kūrybą, pradedant XX a. pabaiga (paskutinis dešimtmetis) ir baigiant naujausia kūryba: J. Vaičiūnaitės, J. Juškaičio, O. Baliukonytės, J. Jekentaitės, R. Mikutavičiaus, R. Stankevičiaus, S. Vilimaitės, S. Kandratavičiaus ir kitų autorių eilėraščiais. Tai, kad ne vienu atveju veidas įgyja religinį krikščioniškosios tradicijos akiratį, lemia atitinkamą teorinį straipsnio pagrindą.     Straipsnyje analizuojama 2004 m. spalio 29 d. Europos Sąjungos šalių narių ir kandidačių vadovų pasirašyta Sutartis dėl Konstitucijos Europai, dar vadinama Konstitucija, Konstitucijos projektu ir Konstitucine sutartimi. Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas 2004 m. lapkričio 11d. įstatymu Nr. IX-2562 ratifikavo šią Sutartį. Pasirinkta tokia nacionalinė procedūra, o piliečiai neįtraukti į platesnę pilietinę ir teisinę diskusiją dėl ES Konstitucinės sutarties. Diskusijų apie visuotinio referendumo rengimą beveik nebuvo, nors LR Konstitucija numato, jog svarbiausi valstybės gyvavimo klausimai yra sprendžiami referendume. Įsigilinus į ES Konstitucijos tekstą, daromos išvados, kad bus pakeista Europos Sąjungos institucijų sistema ir sutarčių peržiūros procedūra, ES piliečiams suteikta galimybė inicijuoti Europos įstatymų leidybos procedūras referendumuose, išplėsta Europos Teisingumo teismo kompetencija. Sutartimi reorganizuojamas nacionalinių parlamentų indėlis į ES demokratinį vystymąsi, nustatant “išankstinio įspėjimo sistemą” ir vykdant subsidiarumo principo monitoringą. Sustiprintos Europos Parlamento įstatymų leidybos ir biudžeto formavimo galios bei konsoliduota Parlamento politinė priežiūra, renkant Komisijos prezidentą. Konvento subūrimas pripažintas specialiu metodu ateityje priimti Konstitucijos teksto pakeitimus. Europos Konstitucija turėtų sustiprinti Sąjungos demokratinę prigimtį. The article analyzes the Treaty on the Constitution for Europe signed by the heads of the EU member states and candidate member states on 29 October 2004, it is also called the Constitution, the Constitution Project, or the Constitutional Agreement. The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania ratified this Treaty on 11 November 2004 by Law No. IX-2562. These national procedures were chosen, and the citizens were not included into a wider civic and legal discussion on the EU Constitutional Treaty. There were hardly any discussions about the arrangement of a general referendum, even though the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania provides that the most important state issues are decided by referendum. Upon closer analysis of the text of the EU Constitution, the conclusion is reached that the system of the EU institutions and the procedure for the observation of the treaties will be changed, EU citizens will be granted the ability to initiate the EU legislation procedures by way of referendums, and the scope of competence of the Court of Justice is to be extended. The Treaty reorganizes the contribution of the national parliaments into the EU democratic development by establishing "an early warning system" and implementing monitoring of the principle of subsidiarity. The powers of the European Parliament to legislate and to form the budget consolidated parliament's political monitoring by electing the president of the European Commission. The meeting of the Convention is approved as a special method to, in the future, adopt changes of the text of the Constitution. The European Constitution is supposed to strengthen the democratic nature of the European Union.

    Straipsnyje nagrinėjama septynių Šiaurės Lietuvos miestelių heraldika, kurioje vaizduojami krikščioniški simboliai. Miestelio heraldiką sudaro jo herbas, herbinė vėliava, herbinis antspaudas. Herbas yra tiek vėliavos, tiek antspaudo pagrindas. Herbo figūra simbolizuoja tam tikrą reikšmę, suteikia daugiausiai informacijos apie herbo savininką. Taip pat atspindi tai, kas buvo svarbu jį sukūrusiems arba yra/turėtų būti svarbu jį šiandien naudojantiems miestelių gyventojams. Todėl straipsnyje stengiamasi ne tik trumpai pristatyti miestelių heraldikos kūrimo procesą, tačiau taip pat išnagrinėti ką šiandienos miestelių gyventojams reiškia toks jų miestelio herbas? Ar herbai su krikščioniškais simboliais gali užimti svarbią vietą XXI a. miestelėnų kultūrinėje atmintyje? Kokių veiksmų reikia imtis norint, kad šie herbai nebūtų užmiršti, nesuprasti? This article studies the coats of arms of seven small northern Lithuanian towns which depict Christian symbols. A town‘s heraldry comprises a coat of arms, an heraldic flag and an heraldic seal. The coat of arms forms the basis for both flag and seal. The heraldic device has a certain meaning and gives information about its owner. It also reflects what was important for those who obtained the arms and it should be important too for modern inhabitants of the towns. Therefore the study attempts not only to present a concise account of how urbam coats of arms were formed but also to examine what such coats of arms mean to townsfolk today. Can coats of arms with Christian devices occupy an important place in the cultural memory of people in small towns? What efforts should be made to ensure that such coats of arms are not forgotten or misunderstood?

    Straipsnyje pirmą kartą pateikiamos susistemintos šiuo metu turimos rašytinės žinios Vilniaus Bernardinų bažnyčioje saugotas relikvijas ir jų kulto pobūdį. Apie ankstyvąją bažnyčios įrangą išliko tik labai fragmentiški duomenys. Tiriami XVII a. II pusės-XX a. šaltiniai. Jie liudija gyvavus XV a. mirusių dviejų vietinių bernardinų, daug nusipelniusių ordino veiklos Lietuvoje pradžioje (Angelo iš Astravo ir Marijono iš Jeziorko), XVII a. pr.-XIX a. populiarų vietos kankinio - žydų nužudyto berniuko Simono, pirmųjų krikščionių kankinių, pranciškonų šventųjų, šv. Kazimiero, Kryžiaus medžio, Kristaus kraujo ir kt. relikvijų kultą. Analizuojami duomenys apie relikvijų įsigijimą, donatorius. XVII a. kronikose minimas garbinimo objektas - šv. Florijono koplyčia. Provincijos ir konvento kronikose minima, kad 1656-1661 m. Maskvos armija nusiaubė visą Vilniaus Bernardinų bažnyčią ir Šv. Florijono koplyčią, altoriai buvo sugriauti, kartu išplėšta ir sunaikinta daug pastarojoje buvusių įvairių šventųjų relikvijų. XVIII a. Šv. Florijono koplyčios kaip relikvijų saugyklos reikšmė buvo atgaivinta. Didysis koplyčios altorius, ne kartą perstatytas ir keitęs titulą, XVIII a. įgavo didžiulio relikvijoriaus pobūdį (jame buvo 35-ios talpos relikvijoms). 1746 m. bažnyčios šventoriuje buvo pastatyta Kristaus laiptų koplyčia su relikvijomis pakopose. Pasitelkus XVIII-XIX a. duomenis, straipsnyje rekonstruojama relikvijų garbinimo tradicija. Visos šv. Florijono ir Kristaus laiptų koplyčiose buvusios relikvijos sovietmečiu uždarius bažnyčią buvo išplėštos, daugumos relikvijorių buvimo vieta nežinoma. The article, for the first time ever presents the systematized available written information on the relics, stored in Vilnius Bernardine Church and the character of their cult. Only very fragmentary data remained on the early equipment of the church. The sources of the 2nd half of the 17th – the 20th century are examined. The sources evidence the cult of relics of two local Bernardines, who significantly contributed in the beginning of activities of the order in Lithuania and died in the 15th century (Angelas from Astravas and Marijonas from Jeziorkas), the local boy Simon, murdered by Jews, who was a popular martyr in the beginning of the 17th – the 19th century, the first Christian martyrs, Franciscan saints, St. Casimirus, the True Cross, the Blood of Christ and other relics. The article provides an analysis of the data on acquisition of relics and their donators. The object of worship, mentioned in the chronicles of the 17th century is the chapel of St. Florijonas. The chronicles of the province and the convent mention that in 1656-1661 Moscow’s army ravaged the entire Vilnius Bernardine Church and the chapel of St. Florijonas, the altars were burned and a lot of different sacred relics were destroyed or stolen. In the 18th century the function of the chapel of St. Florijonas as a vault for relics was restored. The big altar of the chapel, which was reconstructed more than once, in the 18th century acquired the function of the big reliquary (it contained 35 receptacles for relics). In 1746 the chapel of the stairs of Christ with relics on its levels was erected in the churchyard. By employing the data of the 18th – the 19th century, the article reconstructs the tradition of worshipping of relics. All the relics, which existed in the chapels of St. Florijonas and the stairs of Christ were stolen after the church was closed in the Soviet times and the location of most reliquaries is unknown.

    Straipsnyje analizuojama kokybės vadybos iniciatyvų plėtra Lietuvos viešajame sektoriuje, aptariami pagrindiniai struktūriniai ir instituciniai veiksniai, kurie lemia kokybės vadybos taikymą viešojo administravimo įstaigose. Akcentuojama, kad Lietuvoje kokybės vadyba tiek valstybės, tiek įstaigų lygmenimis pradėta diegti neseniai, todėl kokybės vadybos iniciatyvas taikančių įstaigų nėra daug. Parodyta, kad kokybės vadybos iniciatyvas dažniau linkusios taikyti brandesnės įstaigos, kurios turi kitų veiklos valdymo priemonių taikymo patirties, o trūkstant kokybės vadybos patirties pasirinktas kokybės vadybos modelis gali būti įdiegtas formaliai ir gali daugėti administracinio krūvio. Pagrįsta, kad diegiant kokybės vadybą svarbūs įstaigos amžius ir jos dydis. This article analyses the development of quality management in the Lithuanian public sector and identifies major structural and institutional factors that influence the application of quality management initiatives in public administration institutions. It is emphasized that quality management has been introduced to both national and institutional levels in Lithuania just recently, therefore the number of institutions applying quality management is rather small. The authors argue that more mature institutions, which have experience in applying other innovative performance management techniques, are also more likely to apply quality management initiatives. Such factors as duration of existence of the institution, its size, number of staff and budget size have a direct impact on quality management application in Lithuania. On the contrary, the lack of quality management experience may determine the formalistic application of quality management models and raise unnecessary administrative burden.

    Pirmieji žinomi Palemono, jo palikuonių, iš romėnų save kildinusių pirmųjų Lietuvos valdovų, atvaizdai yra užfiksuoti 1581 m. Spėjeryje (Vokietija), Bernardo Albino spaustuvėje išleistame Alexandra Guagnini veikale "Sarmatiae Europae descriptio". Užfiksuotų portretų įtaka buvo tokia didelė, kad net ir XIX a. - XX a. I pusėje šios iliustracijos buvo masiškai tiražuojamos kaip vieninteliai pirmųjų Lietuvos istorijos personažų portretai. Šiandien šie atvaizdai reikšmingi tuo, kad vizualiu pavidalu atskleidžia XVI a. II pusės - XVII a. LDK visuomenės požiūrį į savo šaknis, pirmuosius bandymus vaizdinėmis priemonėmis užfiksuoti vietos istoriją. Portretai yra ne autonomiški dailės kūriniai, o tekstą atspindinčios iliustracijos. Veikalo portretus galima suskirstyti į dvi grupes. Pirmai priklauso medalionus primenančiuose apskritimuose sukomponuoti biustiniai atvaizdai, profiliais į dešinę arba į kairę; jie sugrupuoti į šešis pogrupius po tris. Ši grupė atspindi ankstyvuosius, tiesiogiai su Palemonu besigiminiavusius veikėjus. Kitai grupei priskirtini puošnesni, didesnio formato Mindaugo, Vytenio, Gedimino, Algirdo, Jogailos, Skirgailos, Vytauto, Švitrigailos, Aleksandro portretai, įdėti į vos ovalėjančius rėmus, puoštus rolverkiniais kartušais. Personažai vaizduojami iki juosmens, enface arba trijų ketvirčių rakursu. Abiem iliustracijų grupėms būdingi manierizmo dailės bruožai: apskritimo forma, ritmo pojūtis ir ornamentiškumas. Palemono palikuonims vaizduoti pasirinkti anksčiau kituose kontekstuose buvę, stilistiškai ir ikonografiškai su romėniškąja numizmatika) susiję atvaizdai. The first images of Palemon, his progeny and the first rulers of Lithuania, who stated that they originate from the Romans, are registered in 1581 in Speyer (Germany), in Alexandra Guagnini’s study "Sarmatiae Europae Descriptio", published in Bernard Albin’s printing house. The influence of the registered portraits was such big that even in the 19th – the 1st half of the 20th century the illustrations were mass circulated as the only portraits of the first characters of Lithuania’s history. Today the images are significant since they reveal the view of the society of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the 2nd half of the 16th – the 17th century of their roots and are the first attempts to register the history of the land by visual means. The portraits are not autonomous paintings but illustrations of text. The portraits can be divided into two groups. The first covers the bust images, with the profile to the left of to the right, composed in medallion like circles; they are grouped into six subgroups of three in each. The group reflects the earliest characters, directly related with Palemon. The other group includes larger and more ornate portraits of Mindaugas, Vytenis, Gediminas, Algirdas, Jogaila, Skirgaila, Vytautas, Švitrigaila and Aleksandras, put in more oval frames, decorated with rollwerk cartouches. The characters are portrayed half length, enface or in three fourths. Both groups of illustrations characterize with the traits of mannerism art, i. e. round shape, feeling of rhythm and ornamentation. The images, which previously existed in other contexts and stylistically and iconographically related with the Roman numismatics were chosen for portraying the progeny of Palemon.

    Šio straipsnio tikslas – atskleisti korporatyvinio pasakojimo panaudojimo galimybes organizacijų komunikacijoje. Straipsnyje analizuojamas korporatyvinio pasakojimo pritaikomumas šiuolaikinių organizacijų veikloje, leidžiantis padidinti tikslinių auditorijų susidomėjimą bei į jų įsitraukimą į komunikaciją. Teorinio tyrimo metodu buvo nustatyti korporatyvinio pasakojimo panaudojimo tikslai, pritaikomumo sritys, naudojami pasakojimo struktūros elementai bei schemos korporatyviniam pasakojimui sukurti. Empirinio tyrimo būdu buvo išnagrinėta, kokius korporatyvinio pasakojimo elementus naudoja didžiausios Lietuvos organizacijos, pristatydamos savo verslo istoriją socialinėse interneto erdvėse. The purpose of this article to reveal the corporate storytelling usability in organisational communication. The paper analyses the most important aspects of its application to increase the target groups interests and their involvement in the organisation’s communication. In contemporary business organisations, communication corporate stories are defined as one of the effective strategies to control the huge flow of information, give it a clear and attractive form and create a unique and memorable image of the organisation for its target audiences. After the analysis of scientific literature, it was stated that storytelling is an integral part of successful activity of organisation not only in creating the image of the organisation inside and outside, but also in ensuring the smooth functioning of the work, motivating the employees, strengthening the organisational culture, sharing the knowledge etc. It was stated that the importance of corporate storytelling is growing in the participatory culture context. Contemporary organisations seek more attractive forms of communication and represent visual and interactive stories in the multimedia environment instead of facts or other quantitative indicators. This technique does not deny the importance of the facts, figures or schemes, but it fosters to look more carefully at the business strategy and to link the strategic goals with the social context and the problems of the target audiences.

    Žinių vadyba yra plati sąvoka, apimanti procesus nuo idėjos gimimo iki jos realizavimo. XX a. 8-ajame dešimtmetyje tikėtasi, kad žinių vadybos problemas padės spręsti informacinės technologijos. Tačiau pastarųjų dešimtmečių patirtis Vakarų Europoje ir JAV parodė, kad žinių valdyba yra unikalus ir kiekvienai organizacijai individualus procesas, reikalaujantis ne tik technologinių sprendimų, bet ir filosofinio požiūrio. Socialiniuose moksluose, kur žinių procesai nuo idėjos iki jos realizavimo didžiąja dalimi vyksta subjektyvaus mąstymo plotmėje, labai svarbus filosofinis požiūris. Žinių vadybos integralumas su tokiais procesais kaip profesionalizacija paskatintų kitokį požiūrį į žinias tiek individualiame, tiek organizaciniame lygmenyse. Kadangi profesionalizacija yra ne vienkartinis, o nuolatinis tapsmo procesas, XXI a. pradžioje socialinio darbo profesionalizacijai aktualu tinkamai įvertinti informacinės visuomenės keliamus iššūkius, tokius kaip žinių vadyba. Straipsnyje pristatoma konceptuali žinių vadybos analizė ir pagrindžiamas jos aktualumas socialinio darbo profesionalizacijai. Knowledge management is a complex process which begins with the early rise of idea and continues through the process of formalization and transfer. In early 1980s the rise of information technologies inspired notion that knowledge management will be solved by technological means. However, in particular fields such as social sciences knowledge management is closely related with subjective human factors. Therefore, knowledge management should be developed as integral processes with organization’s knowledge, and learning organization. In article author rise problem that knowledge management issue is underestimated in social work field. Therefore, it is important to view knowledge management as integral part of significant processes such as professionalization. The article present conceptual analysis of knowledge management and discuss the significance of knowledge management in a context of social work professionalization.

    Straipsnyje analizuojama investicijų svarba, aktualumas, investicijų formos ir jų pritraukimo sąlygos ir galimybės tiek Klaipėdos regione tiek ir Lietuvos Respublikoje, visumoje. Investicijų pagrįstumą apibrėžia visa eilė integralinių koeficientų, naudojamų įmonės veikloje, tačiau jie nepakankamai pagrindžia investicijų tikslingumą ir gaunamą efektyvumą. Investicijų sėkmei didelės įtakos turi ekonominė-politinė-teisinė aplinka, palūkanų norma finansų rinkoje ir rizikos laipsnis, susijęs su procentine, valiutine, operatyvine riziką. Straipsnyje ir analizuojama investicijų pagrįstumo metodologija, su ja susijusios problemos ir veiksniai, įtakojantys investicijų sėkmę. It's very important to evaluate financial investment effectivity. During the period of investment, risk might be caused by changes of capital and also by changes in the financial market. These problems are discussed in report.

    Veidas – ilgą ir turiningą tradiciją turintis literatūrinis vaizdinys, figūruojantis ir šiuolaikinėje lietuvių poezijoje. Išeities tašku šaltinių atrankai straipsnyje pasirinkus kūnišką, vizualiai atpažįstamą lyrinio subjekto ar jo sutinkamą kito veidą, šis fenomenas suvokiamas ir plačiau – pagal E. Lévino veido sampratą. Šiuolaikinės poezijos veido veidą (pastarasis – tapatybės prasme) straipsnyje siekiama atskleisti nagrinėjant skirtingų kartų poetų kūrybą, pradedant XX a. pabaiga (paskutinis dešimtmetis) ir baigiant naujausia kūryba: J. Vaičiūnaitės, J. Juškaičio, O. Baliukonytės, J. Jekentaitės, R. Mikutavičiaus, R. Stankevičiaus, S. Vilimaitės, S. Kandratavičiaus ir kitų autorių eilėraščiais. Tai, kad ne vienu atveju veidas įgyja religinį krikščioniškosios tradicijos akiratį, lemia atitinkamą teorinį straipsnio pagrindą. Teorinė straipsnio prieiga yra hermeneutinės metodologijos požiūriu formuluojamas teologinės (D. Miethas) ir filosofinės etikos (E. Lévinas) derinys. Etinio metafizikos reikšmingumo ieškoma poetinėse lyrinio subjekto, žmogiškojo ir dieviškojo kito, tradicinių šventųjų veido reprezentacijose.
