KEK. The T2K off-axis near detector, ND280, is used to make the first differential cross section measurements of muon neutrino charged current single positive pion production on a water target at energies ${\sim}0.8$ GeV. The differential measurements are presented as a function of muon and pion kinematics, in the restricted phase-space defined by $p_{\pi^+} > 200$ MeV/c, $p_{\mu^-} > 200$ MeV/c, $\cos\theta_{\pi^+} > 0.3$ and $\cos\theta_{\mu^-} > 0.3$. The total flux integrated $\nu_\mu$ charged current single positive pion production cross section on water in the restricted phase-space is measured to be $\langle\sigma\rangle_\phi=4.25\pm0.48~(\mathrm{stat})\pm1.56~(\mathrm{syst})\times10^{-40}~\mathrm{cm}^{2}/\mathrm{nucleon}$. Data points taken from attached tar file available at http://t2k-experiment.org/results/. Unfolded $\nu_\mu$ CC1$\pi^+$ differential cross section as a function of $p_\pi$ in the reduced phase-space of $p_{\pi^+} > 200$ MeV/$c$, $p_\mu > 200$ MeV/c, $\cos(\theta_{\pi^+}) > 0.3$ and $\cos(\theta_\mu) > 0.3$.

CERN-LHC. A search is presented for photonic signatures motivated by generalised models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. This search makes use of $20.3{\rm fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, and explores models dominated by both strong and electroweak production of supersymmetric partner states. Four experimental signatures incorporating an isolated photon and significant missing transverse momentum are explored. These signatures include events with an additional photon, lepton, $b$-quark jet, or jet activity not associated with any specific underlying quark flavor. No significant excess of events is observed above the Standard Model prediction and model-dependent 95% confidence-level exclusion limits are set. $\rm{SR}^{\gamma b}_{L}$ signal acceptance*efficiency for combined strong and weak production across the $\mu<0$ higgsino-bino parameter space.

CERN-LHC. Study of events produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 Tev which have a final state consisting of an isolated photon with high PT, at least on jet identified as originating from a bottom quark, and high missing PT. The data sample used, collected in 2011, has a total integrated luminsoity of 4.7 fb-1. The results of the search are interpreted in the context of general gauge mediation (GGM). The expected limit contour in the GLUINO-NEUTRALINO plane.

CERN-LHC. Searches for long-lived particles reaching the muon spectrometer from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using a data sample of total integrated luminosity of 37 pb-1. A search is made for sleptons, acting as heavy muons, with the results are interpreted in the framework of gauge-mediated SUSY breaking (GMSB) with the stau as the heavy long-lived particle (LLP). A search is also made for R-hadrons from coloured LLPs (squark and gluinos), No excesses above backgrounds are observed. Distribution of BETA for all candidates in the R-hadron search. Data are presented for inclusive muon production and for di-muons from Z0 decays together with Monte Carlo predictions of the latter.

CERN-LHC. A study of events in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV characterised by having large missing transverse momentum, jets and at least two tau leptons from a data sample of integrated luminosity 2 fb-1. The analysis finds no excesses above the Standard Model and presents lower limits on the GMSB breaking scale, Lambda, and the ratio of the vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs doublets, tan(beta). Data on the acceptances and efficiencies are given here taken from the auxilliary material linked below. The observed 95% CL limits on the minimal GMSB model parameters Lambda and tan(beta) over the tan(beta) region 42.8 to 48.8.

CERN-LHC. This paper reports the results of a search for diphoton events with substantial missing transverse momentum produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The data sample used has an integrated luminosity of 4.8 fb-1 and the results are interpreted in the contect of three models: A general model of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking (GGM) A minimal model of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking (SPS8) A model with one universal extra dimension (UED) See the text of the paper for details. Cross section limit for the SPS8 model.
