    Scheduling is a critical function that is present throughout many industries and applications. A great need exists for developing scheduling approaches that can be applied to a number of different scheduling problems with significant impact on performance of business organizations. A challenge is emerging in the design of scheduling support systems for manufacturing environments where dynamic adaptation and optimization become increasingly important. At this scenario, self-optimizing arise as the ability of the agent to monitor its state and performance and proactively tune itself to respond to environmental stimuli.

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh fasilitas dan lingkungan terhadap minat berkunjung serta untuk mengetahui variabel mana yang mempunyai pengaruh paling dominan terhadap minat berkunjung mahasiswa S-1 Reguler Fakultas Ekonomi USU Medan. Skala pengukuran variabel dengan menggunakan skala Likert dengan jumlah populasi 1716 orang dan sampel 94 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakansampel purposivesample. Pengambilan sampel harus didasarkan atas ciri-ciri, sifat-sifat atau karakteristik tertentu. Responden yang dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S-1 Reguler Fakultas Ekonomi USU Angkatan 2007 sampai dengan 2009. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian ini melalui uji F hitung menunjukkan bahwa variabel independent yang digunakan yaitu variabel fasilitas dan lingkungan perpustakaan USU secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung mahasiswa. Melalui uji t hitung variabel fasilitas dan lingkungan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi minat berkunjung mahasiswa adalah lingkungan perpustakaan USU. 07052I055
