Abstract
Dr. Jan Cami is an Associate Professor at Western University, currently teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in astronomy, including fourth year undergraduate honours research projects. Dr. Cami's main research areas include molecular spectroscopy, dust mineralogy in evolved stars, and the Diffuse Interstellar Bands (DIBs). He has received the Western Faculty Scholar Award, international awards from NASA, and has an undeniable passion for scientific community outreach, something he is actively involved in and promotes.
