An Assessment of Community change in Scaled Chrysophytes of Babine Lake, B.C. over the last ~200 years: In Search of a Climate signal

Scaled chrysophytes are one of several biological proxies that can be used in paleolimnological studies to track environmental change over long-term periods. However, little data exists for large oligotrophic lakes such as Babine Lake, British Columbia. Following a previous multiproxy analysis that focussed on identifying stressors behind a decline in the salmon population of the lake, this study aims to further analyze the drivers of biological change.
