Pürtük Deresi Havzası (Hizan-Bitlis)’nın Jeomorfolojik Özelliklerinin Jeomorfik İndislerle Analizi

Abstract

The research field covers the Pürtük Stream basin in the southwest of the Hizan (Bitlis province), located in the south of Basin Lake Van in Eastern Anatolia. The name of the Basin was given because of the Pürtük Stream in the area. Due to tectonic effect, lithology, and drainage systems, valleys split the site in the Continent-Continent action zone. The basin, which developed over the Bitlis metamorphics, was investigated using geomorphic indices. Topographic, geological, and hydrographic features were transferred on the bases obtained from 1/25.000 scale maps to reveal the factors controlling the development of the basin. ArcGIS Desktop, a geographic information systems program, was processed on ArcMap program and the basin's digital database, and three-dimensional digital terrain models were drawn with the data found. When the geomorphic indices used are interpreted, the hypsometric curve of the basin is concave. Valley base width – Valley height ratio (Vf) varies between 0.24-0.62. It has been determined that the basin has V-shaped valleys, has not reached maturity, the Gayda Pond in the field is Dystrophic (the lake with a depth of 0-6 m), and the Dendritic drainage network system feeds the basin. When evaluated according to the Vf index classification of the researchers, It is seen that the basin contains Class I (High-Level tectonism) and Class II (Mid-Level tectonism) data. It is concluded that the slopes with high slopes are not very much in the basin, the flow collection time is generally long, and the floods are not excessive.

Çalışma alanı, Doğu Anadolu’da, Van Gölü Havzasının güneyinde bulunan Hizan (Bitlis ili)’ın güneybatısındaki Pürtük Deresi Havzasını kapsamaktadır. Havzanın ismi sahada bulunan Pürtük Deresi’nden dolayı verilmiştir. Kıta-Kıta çarpışması zonunda bulunan saha tektonik etkiye, litolojiye ve drenaj sistemlerine bağlı olarak vadilerle yarılmıştır.Bitlis Metamorfitleri üzerinde gelişim gösteren havza, jeomorfik indislerden faydalanılarak incelenmiştir. Havza gelişimini denetleyen etmenlerin ortaya konması açısından topografik, jeolojik ve hidrografik özellikler 1/25.000 ölçekli haritalardan elde edilen altlıklar üzerine aktarılmıştır. Coğrafi bilgi sistemleri yazılımı olan ArcGIS Desktop, ArcMap programı üzerinde işlenerek bulunan verilerle havzaya ait sayısal veri tabanı ve üç boyutlu sayısal arazi modelleri çizilmiştir. Kullanılan jeomorfik indisler yorumlandığında; havzanın Hipsometrik eğrisi iç bükeydir. Vadi taban genişliği–Vadi yüksekliği oranı (Vf) 0,24-0,62 arasında değişmektedir. Havzanın V- biçimli vadilere sahip olduğu, olgunluğa ulaşmadığı, sahada bulunan Gayda Göleti’nin distrofik (derinliği 0-6 m. arası olan göl) özellikte olduğu, havzanın Dandritik drenaj ağ sistemiyle beslendiği tespit edilmiştir. Havza araştırmacıların Vf indis sınıflamasına göre değerlendirildiğinde, Sınıf I (Yüksek seviye tektonizma) ve Sınıf II (Orta seviye tektonizma) verilerini içerdiği görülmektedir. Havzada eğimi yüksek yamaçların çok fazla yer almadığı, akım toplanma zamanının genel olarak fazla olduğu ve taşkınların aşırı olmadığı sonucuna varılmaktadır.
